Task 4: 3D Typography (Final)

For final task, lecturer told us to do 3D typography. We can make only alphabet or a word to complete this task.
This is my reference to make melted text.
I'm using Adobe Illustration to make my word 3D. Then, I choose suitable color for my text.
Next, I make melted shape and placed it under my text.
I put some object on my text to make it interesting.
After finished putting the object, I continue my work into Adobe Photoshop. I added some shadow on my text.
Then, I put color for my background and a little bit shadow under my text.
 Doneeee!

Task 3: Matte Painting

For 3rd task is to create a matte painting. Matte painting is a painted representation of a landscape, set or distant location that allows filmmakers to create the illusion of an environment that is nonexistent in real life. My idea for this task is there are morning and night, peace and disaster, good and bad. This matte painting show us about the different condition of the world.
1. I do some research on images that I want to put in my matte painting.

2. I put house image at the background.
 3. I edit the right side of the house to show the different side of the world and I replaced the background using night image.
 4. Then, I painted rainbow, sun and some clouds using brush.
5. I put the abandoned tower there to make it look like a destroyed place.
6. After that, I placed UFO and I painted the light under the UFO using brush. Then, I added a cat under the UFO.
7. I added a destroy effect on the house to make the house look old and abandoned.

After done the base and shadow, I do the highlight at the brighter part of the face using bright colour.
Then, I add dark colour to show the hair part.
Next, I add up light colour on the dark part using suitable brush to make hair detail.
