Task 2 : TV Commercial Ad

We've been given a task in a group to create a TV Commercial Ad. We choose Ribena brand to do our TVC. Our concept for this TVC is stop motion.
Team members:
Patricia Chandra
Roshazleeza Abdul Hadi
Umi Kalthom Md Noh
Hemavathi

Why we choose Ribena?

Below are the process of making it.
We start by sketching out our storyboard.
Then, we sketch out the Ribena berries and draw it in Illustrator.
Digital Character.
After that, we played on the character's expression.

Since we're doing stop motion, we plan on printing the characters on art card paper and sticking skewers behind the characters. Beside that, we also drew slides in Illustrator and print it.

Here is the most challenging part. Shooting a stop motion based ad was super challenging as we have zero knowledge about this. But we manage to shoot stop motion with the help of our teammates and guidance from lecturer. Below is the process of making of it.

Task 1 : Ads Poster

These are the two poster I've done for advertising class. I do poster for KitKat and Faber Castell Eraser.
My concept for this poster is plain and simple. The reason I use this concept is because it’s straight to the point. There are previous, play, pause, stop and next button in the poster. The pause button is replaced with ‘KitKat’ stick. The pause button is also similar meaning to the word ‘break’ which included in the KitKat slogan.

In this poster, I want to show the effective cleaning of the Faber Castell eraser. There are a word 'salah' in Malay language in the poster which is mean wrong in English. After the use of the eraser, the alphabet L and A is slowly fading and left the word 'sah' which is  means legal or right in English to show that the eraser is ‘excellent clean erasing’.
